You also get this vibe from the cover that I associate with this series and I enjoy it so much. I really like this cover! It fits with the first one quite well and it fits the story perfectly. So of course I wanted to read Ruthless Gods very badly. You might remember that Wicked Saints was one of my absolute favorite books of 2019.
